The course MC 101 – Media Composer Fundamentals I, is the first step in achieving confidence and efficiency with Avid Media Composer, the non-linear film/video editing application used in most movie and television productions. Attendance will be taken since, per Avid policy, students need to take all lecture hours to qualify for the certification exams. Both the 101 and 110 exams must be passed with an 80 or above for student to receive his/her User Certification (Avid Policy). The Pro Tools Fundamentals I (PT101) course introduces fundamental Pro Tools. The class is taught using Avid’s authorized curriculum and a certified instructor to ensure the highest level of professionalism in training. Avid Pro Tools® 101 and 110 ebooks are included in the 100 level rate. to prepare for the Avid Certified User: Pro Tools certification exam.
